Who We Are

AOPI Orthotics and Prosthetics is the areas most experienced provider of prosthetic and orthotic devices. With over 60 years of combined experience providing orthotic and prosthetic devices for all ages and activity levels, our goal is to provide professionally made products to each and every one of our patients.

AOPI’s prosthetic staff is highly trained to provide the very latest in developing microprocessor technology including, but not limited to, computer controlled bionic hands and transfemoral knee systems. AOPI’s orthotic services include both custom fabricated in house and off shelf orthotics, diabetic shoes, and cranial remolding orthoses. Our facilities include Augusta, Athens and Milledgeville, Georgia, and West Columbia, South Carolina, all facilities are certified through the  American Board of Certification.  We also one of the contract awarded vendors of selection for Veterans to choose among in Augusta and Dublin, Georgia VA and the Columbia, South Carolina VA.

Privately owned, AOPI offers professional expert care with compassion and integrity to all patients. This ensures the highest level of service at reasonable cost and professional care for each individual.

What We Do

The need for a prosthetic or orthotic device may arise from a traumatic injury, congenital condition or disabling illness. The staff at AOPI has helped individuals with cerebral palsy, multiple sclerosis, muscular dystrophy, spina bifida and scoliosis, as well as those with spinal cord injuries or amputations.

AOPI specializes in providing customized solutions to an individual’s specific needs such as custom bracing and artificial limbs. AOPI treats patients of all ages from babies to the elderly.

This experience allows AOPI to treat people with respect and dignity. In addition, the staff is actively involved with continuing education with other orthotic and prosthetic professionals to ensure the highest level of care.
