AOPI is proud to offer several options for our patients for foot and ankle care, with an appropriate prescription.
We are able to do custom inserts and UCBL inserts for pain relief and support. We also provide surgical and offloader shoes for ulcer treatment and diabetic shoes and inserts. As of January 2021, AOPI will no longer be filing insurance coverage for diabetic shoes with Medicare. We will file for inserts and can provide shoes through private pay. Patients have the option to file for diabetic shoe coverage independently.
For pediatrics, we offer custom SMOs (supra-malleolar orthoses) for ankle instability as well as Ponsetti AFOs and ADMs to treat clubfoot.
